How to Root Infinix hot 2 (Android One) Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow


If you are reading this right now, then you must have completed the previous steps on how to upgrade your Infinix hot 2 to Android 6.0. However you want to root it because you are already aware of the rooting benefits or probably because you want to explore more your newest Infinix hot2 running Android 6.0.

Before you begin the rooting process, see the requirements below.

Requirements
PC
Recovery enabler (download here)
TWRP (download here)
Super SU for Android Marshmallow (download here)

STEPS:
==>Place Super user SU-2.66.zip in your Internal memory of your SD Card.
==> Make sure you have Vcom drivers installed on your PC
==> Extract the downloaded Infinix Flash Tool,
==>Extract the downloaded Recovery enabler
==>Extract the downloaded TWRP Recovery

==> Open Infinix Flash Tool, click on browse and navigate to folder containing Recovery Enabler, select MT6580_Android_Scatter file and click start.

>>Connect your phone to your PC (make sure you remove your battery)... wait for the process to complete

>>Reboot after flashing.
>>Do the same process for TWRP Recovery but do not reboot after flashing. Boot to Recovery (by Holding the Vol Up and Power button for 5 seconds)

>>Flash SuperSU and reboot your device.

Once the process is completed, you can verify your root status by simply going to Google Playstore, download root checker to be sure your Infinix hot 2 running Android 6.0 is fully rooted.

    1. @Olivier, Recovery mode is not enabled by default in android 6.0.
      You will have to enable it manually by flashing the recovery enabler (download it here http://adf.ly/1V4J7G )..
